Your safety is the most important thing. This is why, we are we are adopting measures established by aviation and health authorities to ensure the well-being of our travelers and crew. As well, we follow recommendations of international organizations such as the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
At Viva we are implementing and strengthening new hygiene and disinfection protocols for our aircraft.

Who cleans our airplanes?

Our cleaning processes are carried out by our provider SPV with professionals specifically trained for this responsibility. We have reinforced the interior cleaning of our planes by increasing the frequency and using the products approved by the WHO and the manufacturer.

Cleaning after each flight

When the last passenger gets off the plane, our disinfection process begins!
In the time we have available between each flight, we do a cleaning of the interior surfaces and spaces of the aircraft. We remove trash bags and clean the surfaces of different compartments.

Planes are cleaned thoroughly every day

The more, the better!
We have a mandatory hygiene process for the end of each crew shift, backed up by an additional mid-shift hygiene and disinfection protocol.
Furthermore, a daily disinfection at the end of each day’s operation takes place at night when the aircraft are grounded at their home airports, taking advantage of the additional time to deep clean the passenger spaces.

Deep clean

Every 15 days, we conduct a deep disinfection on our aircraft, where we cover 100% of the hygiene criteria, guaranteeing a detailed disinfection and deep cleaning in every part of the aircraft’s interior.
